I'M DONE

Friends!! I AM DONE WITH THIS SEMESTER. Holy cow. I can't believe I did it. This semester was...HARD. How did I do it? One day at a time. Oh, and coffee + Jesus make a good mix. I used to plan out my whole week, look at everything I needed to do, and go from there. Well, I learned that was not going to work this semester. This new rhythm was good for me. I feel like I blinked and now it is over. I made some really awesome friends at the UCO Wesley this semester too. And I am sad to say that my time at the Wesley is over. However, my faith has strengthened and my relationship with God has gone further than I could imagine. This whole year has been about listening to Him and trusting in His plan and timing. I am still in shock that I made it through this semester as I am writing this. God is so so good. Now it is all smooth sailing up to the wedding!! I have learned so much this year and I would love to share it with you.

1. It is okay to take things one day at a time

2. Things do get better, and it's worth the wait

3. God wants a relationship with you; He is a relational God

4. God has blessed me beyond measure even if I don't see it; take the time to look for all the blessings and be grateful for everything

5. Having Christian friends who support you and encourage you is important

6. Take the time to care for yourself (my weekends were my time to rest)

7. God gave us the Sabbath for a reason; He commanded rest

8. Do the things that bring you joy

9. Trust in God's timing and plan; it's perfect

10. It's okay to be scared; but God has you in His hands

11. Get outside and exercise; you'll feel better

12. Wedding planning is tough, but I know the moment will be perfect, and I'm forever thankful for my forever man

All my love,

Lauren Williams (soon to be Mains)
