We're Married!!!

Hello from the new Mrs. Mains!! Holy cow, I'm married! We got married on December 29th, 2023. The day started off with a rehearsal brunch that my mother-in-law so happily prepared for us. It was amazing! We rehearsed the ceremony then got to work. It was so much fun decorating and placing things exactly how we wanted them. I was so worried that I wouldn't be present in the moment and everything would fly by. Even though it went by fast, I was present in each moment and cherished every second!! Sam slept part of the afternoon so he wouldn't be super tired later in the evening. He had a blast being upstairs in the groom's room! The photographers and videographer got there around 2 or 3pm and immediately got to work. We don't have any photos back yet, but we were very pleased with the service they provided! We took separate photos so Sam and I wouldn't see each other before the ceremony. Fast forward to my first look with my dad--it was the most emotional and sentimental moment. We were both at a loss for words. Fast forward to ten minutes before we walk down the aisle...I had to squeeze a stress ball because I had sooo many butterflies in my stomach. I will always remember the moment my dad and I walked down the aisle. Two of our guests were a bit late, but right on time for us because they opened the door for my dad and I. Sam definitely teared up and so did I. Being at the altar with my husband was so special, and we cherished each moment, briefly whispering to each other and complimenting one another. We said our vows and we both made it through without breaking down. I can't describe to you all the feelings we both had. The night was absolutely perfect and we were flexible when things may not have gone as planned. Fast forward to our mini honeymoon!! I am so glad we did not go straight to the Bahamas because we got COVID from our wedding!!! We were sick from Friday night until Tuesday. Even though we were sick, it was still an honor to serve and love one another. We had a fantastic time relaxing, playing games, reading, and doing our new couple's journal together. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together, not having to worry about work or anything else. We came back to our HOME, and it was such an amazing feeling. These first weeks of marriage have been nothing short of a blessing. God is such an amazing God and how He orchestrates everything in our life is nothing short of amazing. We want to thank everyone for loving us, showing your support, and helping us during this amazing new life transition. You ALL mean more than you know to us!!

Lots of love and many blessings,

Mrs. Mains
