I Did It!

 Friends, family, and loved ones: 

I made it! Today I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. The feeling is so surreal. I cannot describe to you exactly what I am feeling. All the hard work, late nights, tears, sweat, and research has finally paid off. I simply could not have stood where I did today without the support of my family, husband, friends, and research partners. I got so emotional thinking about where I came from and where I have ended up. I get emotional thinking of all the places I know I am going. I am so incredibly blessed to have earned my B.A. in psychology, and I will soon be pursuing my graduate studies in counseling psychology. In just three more short years I will be Mrs. Lauren Mains, M.A. LPC. God has put such a calling in my heart and on my life, and I simply cannot ignore His goodness in making everything come together so effortlessly. It has been such a great, crazy, wild, and memorable experience. I can't wait to get my higher-higher education so I can continue to love and help God's precious children. Shout out to my mom, dad, grandma, papa, Kayleigh, Joel, and my wonderful husband Sam for making my dreams come true. Life is so sweet. Congratulations to everyone on this Earth completing milestones, working dream jobs, furthering your life path, and congratulations for just being YOU. The world needs more people like YOU. You never know who YOU are inspiring. You never know how big of a difference YOU actually make. God bless you all and I cannot wait to update you this summer during my two month long mission trip.
